This instructive book is a great addition to the library of anyone wanting to know more about techniques and styles of beadwork. Monte Smith gives a brief history of beads and then insights and hints into bead selection, techniques and the development of Indian beadwork design. The book features mostly black and white photographs of beaded items from 1835 to present and about 200 illustrations of different techniques and styles of beadwork.
